If you’re reading this, I’m a bit surprised that you are. The internet is full of people espousing opinions – well-reasoned and not – and the last thing the internet needs is someone adding more fuel to that chaos by starting a new personal blog.
Nevertheless, however you managed to find this site, I appreciate that someone is at least casually interested in what an over-analytical, philosophically-minded Clevelander has to say about just about anything.
I’m not the fastest writer. Like a lot of people, my brain works a lot faster than my fingers can keep up with while working a keyboard. But I have a gifted mind, and I’ve realized it’d be a shame to keep all the knowledge and questions that swim around in my head all day, every day to myself. After years of relegating writing to a personal blog on the, “I’ll get around to it,” list, it’s time for me to stop thinking so much with nothing to show for it.
I record my thoughts on motorcycles, tools and travel in a separate blogspace. My plan is to use this blog for everything else I enjoy or spend time in thought about – from politics to food to fishkeeping to home ownership to sports to computer apps and more.
I’ve worked full-time for years, but my resume screams perpetual student. This blog is one research paper that I’ll keep writing one chapter at a time about what I’ve learned from my journey through life.
Thanks for reading this short piece. Hopefully I’ve captured your attention, and you’ll take a few moments to follow this blog, peruse its archives and find something of interest to read.
